$10,000 Kareoke Contest

Were kicking off this years kareoke contest in partnership with The Cannery Bar and Grill with proceeds going towards the Mississippi Gulf Coast Multiple Sclerosis Society. Donations will be accepted at both locations Cash, Check, or QR code will be available. Please make checks payable to THE MISSISSIPPI GULF COAST MULTIPLE SCLEROSIS SOCIETY

1.) No more than 30 contestants each week 2.) Must be 18 or older 3.) No digital submissions, must be present 4.) Song selection is first come, first serve. Have 6 songs prepared 5.) Judging is based on Talent, Song Choice, and Presentation 6.) Each week, every contestant will have two rounds of competition. Top 4 (2 males and 2 females) each night sing 1 more song to get our weekly winners (1 male/1 female) 8.) Open elimination will span 6 weeks, August 4 - September 22 at both locations. 9.) Semi Finals will be 2 weeks. September 14 (Juke Joint) and September 15 (Cannery) is semi finals week 1 and will consist of 12 contestants at each location. 2 songs (rounds) for each contestant. Only 4 contestants from each bar will move forward to THE FINALS. The second week of Semi Finals will be Wild Card Week. 10.) Wild Card Week Sept. 21 (Juke) and Sept 22 (Cannery) The two second place contestants each week that made it to the TOP 4 but didnt win will be invited back for a chance to make it to the finals. Two winners (1 male 1 female) from each bar will move on to the Finals 11.) Finals will be held on Ocotber 13 2022 at The Cannery. 12 finalists, 8 contestants from open elimination and 4 contestants from Wild Card Week will compete with a LIVE BAND Performance 12.) Contestants will have 2 weeks (Sept 25-Oct 9) to get with the band and go over and rehearse their song selections. Official rehearsal dates will be during the two weeks previously stated announced to contestants at the end of Wild Card Week 13.) PRIZES !st place winners $3500 each. 2nd place, $1000 each 3rd place $500 each.
